“Thus says the Lord,

Do not learn the way of the nations,

And do not be terrified by the signs of the heavens

Although the nations are terrified by them;

For the customs of the peoples are delusion;

Because it is wood cut from the forest

The work of the hands of a craftsman with a cutting tool.

They decorate it with silver and with gold;

They fasten it with nails and with hammers

So that it will not totter.

‘Like a scarecrow in a cucumber field are they,

And they cannot speak;

They must be carried,

Because they cannot walk!

Do not fear them,

For they can do no harm,

Nor can they do any good.’

There is none like You, O Lord;

You are great, and great is Your name in might.”

-Jeremiah 10: 2-6

I’m a pretty anxious person, and sometimes I’m very weak (aka scared of everything TT), but this verse is pretty comforting 🙂

So I’ll try to live by this verse*, pray this verse, and recite it back to myself (if I can remember it xD)

The bold stuff is stuff that really spoke to me, or the stuff that I will try to remember

*or is it these verses? oh well //shrugs

… or at least I hope that that’s the right word

“For My people are foolish,

They know Me not;

They are stupid children

And have no understanding.

They are shrewd to do evil,

But to do good they do not know.”

~Jeremiah‬ ‭4‬:‭22‬

” ‘Return, O faithless sons,

I will heal your faithlessness.’

‘Behold, we come to You

For You are the Lord our God.’ ”

~Jeremiah 3:22

We’re so faithless and foolish and we mess up so much, but God still promises to heal our faithlessness as long as we return. 😊
